What's New in the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E: More Features, Better Technology

What's New in the 2025 Ford Mustang Mach-E: More Features, Better Technology

Ford continues to refine and enhance the Mustang Mach-E with customer-driven improvements for 2025. The latest model brings practical upgrades and new technology features while maintaining its position as a leading electric SUV in the Canadian market.

Enhanced Standard Equipment and Interior Updates

The 2025 Mustang Mach-E features several notable improvements to enhance the driving experience. A new standard heat pump helps optimize energy consumption, particularly during Canadian winters. The interior receives a practical update: a column-mounted shifter replaces the previous centre-mounted dial, creating more usable console space for everyday items. Premium models now include ventilated front seats as standard equipment, adding comfort during warm-weather drives.

New Sport Appearance Package Options

For drivers wanting GT styling without the full GT price tag, the new Sport Appearance Package delivers bold visual upgrades to Premium models. The package includes the distinctive GT front fascia and grille shield, complemented by red Brembo-branded brake calipers. The exterior features 19-inch Monochromatic High-Gloss Black-Painted wheels, black-painted door cladding, and wheel lips. Inside, red accent stitching and sport pedals complete the performance-inspired look.

Advanced BlueCruise 1.5 Technology

The 2025 model introduces BlueCruise 1.5, the latest version of Ford's hands-free highway driving system. This update brings Automatic Lane Change capability, allowing the vehicle to smoothly change lanes without driver input when detecting slower traffic ahead or vehicles following too closely in the passing lane. Based on internal testing, the system can automate up to 45% of lane changes during a typical drive. Ford now offers flexible access options, including a one-time purchase that eliminates the need for reactivation, along with a one-year plan and a 90-day trial option.

Expanded Personalization Options

The 2025 Mustang Mach-E offers more ways to customize your vehicle. Three new colors join the palette: Molten Magenta Metallic Tinted Clearcoat, Velocity Blue Metallic, and Desert Sand. The lineup also features three new wheel designs, including a Dark Carbonized Gray option for the Mustang Mach-E Rally. A new Ford Connectivity Package enhances the ownership experience with 5G Wi-Fi capability for up to 10 devices, in-vehicle apps for entertainment, and connected navigation with EV-specific features. The GT Performance Upgrade remains available either as a factory option or through the FordPass app after delivery.

The 2025 Mustang Mach-E arrives at Canadian dealerships in early 2025, with pricing starting at $52,995.
